The capital of the Faroe Islands is more like a German small town and has its own charm.
Torshavn is the capital of the Faroe Islands and has about 12,000 inhabitants, the entire Faroe Islands have about 50,000 inhabitants. Although these belong to Denmark, they are largely independent. The AIDA is located in the industrial port. A shuttle bus runs to the port gate.
This time we were guided by AIDA’s own port information, which is available free of charge at the reception and went up to the Nordic house on foot. From here you have a pretty nice overview of the place – but there is not much to see.
