In which country is Thailand in?
Thailand is located in Southeast Asia on the Gulf of Thailand. To the west is Myanmar (Burma), and to the east is Cambodia. It is bordered by Malaysia to the south and Laos to the northeast. With its 513,115 square kilometers, Thailand is about one and a half times the size of Germany.


The greater part of the country is located on the Indochinese Peninsula. The narrow, southern part of the country belongs to the Malacca Peninsula. This protrudes on the western side into the Andaman Sea, on the eastern into the Gulf of Thailand.
