Where exactly is Tampa Florida?
The city of Tampa is located in Hillsborough County and directly on the west coast of the Sunshine State of Florida. Located at the mouth of the Hillsbourough River, it projects into Tampa Bay as a peninsula. Together with St. Petersburg and Clearwater, it forms the greater Tampa area. With its 350,000 inhabitants, the city is the third largest in the state, following the metropolises of Miami and Jacksonville. However, compared to the size, things are very quiet in Tampa and they say it has the character of a small town.

It is especially families with children, those seeking peace and quiet and the elderly who settle in Tampa to escape the hustle and bustle of the metropolises. Tampa is therefore also known as a “paradise for pensioners” and attracts not only wealthy Americans from the north, but also numerous Germans who retire in the sunny region. But of course, young people also feel very comfortable in the city and appreciate the high quality of life, which is confirmed by Tampa.
