What country does Morocco belong to?
Morocco is located in North Africa. It is the westernmost country there. Morocco is one of the Mahgreb states. In the self-designation of the country it is also called the Maghreb or country of the Maghreb. The word Morocco, on the other hand, derives from the old capital Marrakech.
