Where in England is Kingston upon Hull?
Kingston-upon-Hull (Hull for short) is located in East Yorkshire on the east coast of northern England and can be reached from London and Manchester in 2 to 3 hours. Hull can be reached by ferry directly from Rotterdam.
Hull is a historic city, so you should definitely pay a visit to the Old Town: here you can still admire architectural buildings from the Georgian and Edwardian eras. At the East Riding Museum of Archaeology you can admire a life-size woolly mammoth and in the well-preserved Hepworth Arcade you can still shop in regional independent shops, such as Dinsdale’s Joke Shop, Fanthorpe’s Television Store and Beasley’s Fashion Emporium.

A landmark at the Hull Marina is The Deep: here the history of the world’s oceans is told and from the panoramic elevator you can watch the sharks swimming. With a little luck, you can even meet the VIPs of the museum – the “very important penguins” – and the charming jellyfish that floats through the ocean.
