Jönköping is located in the north of Småland and exactly at the southern tip of the Vättern. The city has 100,000 inhabitants, but it seemed much larger to us. Driving in Jönköping was also not as easy as in other Swedish cities – we got lost several times. It is obvious that Jönköping is doing well. There are many modern new buildings in the city center. Some gigantic logistics centers have been built outside the city center, probably due to the proximity to the E4 and the airports in Jönköping and Gothenburg.
