The Hamburg Nord district is one of 7 districts of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. It is located above the district of Hamburg Mitte, framed by the two districts of Eimsbüttel and Wandsbek. All 3 districts together form the “north” of Hamburg. Hamburg Nord occupies an area of 57.8 square kilometers and has about 290,000 inhabitants.

This district has, next to the district of eimsbüttel, the highest population density compared to the remaining, with 5040 inhabitants / km2.
