Daegu is a city in South Korea. It is located about 237 km southeast of the capital Seoul. There are about 2,444,000 inhabitants in Daegu.

After a few days in the rural regions of Korea, a change is due. Our destination is the quiet metropolis of Daegu. From Andong we travel almost 100 kilometers further to the south of the country. Before that, however, we have to refuel, and still in the middle of the country. A gas station will be found soon. On the highway to Naksan, that was a great thing. Since we could just drive to a large motorway service station, as with us, only with tank service and a package of cleaning wipes as a gift. Here, however, we would be happy if at least diesel or gasoline in English were at the pump.
But now we are reaching the limit of all my preparations, because such characters are missing from the list. Black or yellow hose? Lars scratches his head inquiringly, while the tank staff discreetly stays in the background. Only a nice father with a son comes up to us laughing, tells Lars something in Korean and points to the black hose. We trust him; and just as it comes to paying, suddenly the staff is back on the spot.
