Which country is Brussels located?
Brussels is not only the capital of the Belgian Kingdom, but also the capital of Europe.
Brussels is an open-minded and cosmopolitan city, a city that welcomes its visitors with open arms and delights with a wide range of offers for all budgets and all ages. A cosmopolitan city that knows how to revel in pleasure and whose beauty is sometimes only revealed at second glance.
Brussels always ticks a little differently, because the city maintains its very own, sometimes wayward style: sometimes unruly and mischievous, sometimes thoughtful and thoughtful, but always irresistibly sympathetic. Despite the European dimension and despite the confusion of languages that can be heard on almost every street corner, Brussels has retained a little of its village character to this day.
Of course, Brussels is famous for the magnificent Grand-Place, the futuristic Atomium, the cute Manneken-Pis, the numerous beer specialties, the crispy waffles and the delicately melting chocolate and praline dreams…, (which, in fact, there is no way around!). But if we can give you a tip along the way: take the time to immerse yourself in the very special ambience of the Brussels districts. Stroll through the fashion designers’ district around Rue Antoine Dansaert, past the nightlife district between Halles Saint-Géry and Place Sainte-Catherine, take a detour to the lively Saint-Boniface district with its countless restaurants and bars. Culture and café terraces… and even a tranquil pond can be found around the Place Flagey, while the Châtelain district with its Wednesday market is all about seeing and being seen.
