Which country is Auckland located?
Auckland is the most densely populated and largest city in New Zealand by area. Culturally, the region is particularly known for its art scene and exudes international flair. It unites many cultures with each other. Indigenous people of New Zealand, the Maori, live together with the European immigrants, who make up the majority of the inhabitants. In addition, immigrants come from all the Pacific Islands and from East Asia. Auckland is a vibrant city surrounded by beautiful beaches, great hiking trails and beautiful islands – a place that is also rewarded with many hours of sunshine a year.
The city is located between two bays and is surrounded by a volcanic backdrop. Not far from the harbour, Auckland’s very lively city centre is located. Nearby are two art galleries, the popular Park Auckland Domain, the Sky Tower, which offers a great view of the panorama of the city. The museum, which tells the history of Auckland from the Maori to the Nautur, is located here not far from the zoo and an aquarium. After sightseeing, you can take a break at one of the many stalls, before going to a restaurant in the evening to indulge in culinary delights and enjoy the nightlife.
It’s a good thing that you can get everywhere by public buses and do not need your own car, and maybe you can enjoy a glass of wine more. Discover the absolute highlights of the Auckland region in the following video.
